AP Economics Summer Work 2025
Directions: In preparation for our upcoming year, you will be reading the first two chapters of the AMSCO Advanced Placement Microeconomics Textbook and completing a set of questions to go along with it.
Chapter 1 covers the idea of scarcity and basic economic terminology. This is foundational information that we will be referring to throughout the course of the school year in both micro and macroeconomics.
Chapter 2 goes over the types of economic systems and how resources may be allocated differently under different circumstances. As we study various economic principles throughout the year, we will look to different economic systems and real-world examples of these phenomena.

Since it is summertime I will not guarantee that you will get an immediate response, but I will do my best to get back to you in as timely a manner as possible. We have a lot of challenging work ahead of us next year, and I am eager to get to work with all of you!
