Henry David Thoreau Foundation Scholarship

Seniors interested in Environmental Studies can receive up to $26,000 for college tuition.  Visit www.thoreauscholar.org to learn more about this scholarship.  The application opens October 15, 2025 and closes February 1, 2026.  Email jackie@thoreauscholar.org to learn more about this program. 

The Peterson School 2025-2026 Scholarship - $500 will be awarded to 3 outstanding high school students graduating in June 2026 who have positively impacted their school community.  The scholarship will be valid to use from 2026-2027 towards a trade related course at the Peterson School.  Applications available at www.petersonschool.com and must include an essay, transcript, and list of activities.  Due by May 8, 2026.  Contact kbillo@petersonschool.com with any questions.

South Shore Technical Institute:  220 hour introductory courses designed for entry level jobs in HVAC, Automotive, Culinary Arts, Welding, and Manufacturing.  Please see the bulletin board in the Main Office for more information.

Massachusetts Math & Science Scholarships: Linked you will find 14 scholarship programs ideal for high school students in grades 9–12 who excel in math

NRAS is offering a $1,500 scholarship to a high school senior who demonstrates artistic excellence in fine art, sculpture, photography, film, or other visual art disciplines. This scholarship aims to support the next generation of artists as they continue their education and artistic endeavors.

We would love your help in spreading the word to eligible students who may be interested in applying. The selected recipient will be chosen before our 49th Annual Festival of the Arts in May, where they will be recognized for their achievements.

The Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement (MAWLE) is pleased to announce the Lieutenant June T. Murphy Scholarship - to be awarded to a student who pursues a degree in Criminal Justice.

 

All eligible candidates’ qualifications, achievements, etc. will be evaluated and rated in comparison to all the perspective applicants. The winner will be selected and awarded the scholarship by late spring of each year.

 

To be eligible, applicants MUST review the Guidelines and Criteria, COMPLETE the Application, and use the Checklist t for your guidance. If ALL the guidelines and criteria are not met you are not eligible to apply.

 

The scholarship winner will be chosen by the Scholarship Committee and submitted for review to the MAWLE Executive Board. The winner and her parents will be invited to the annual Spirit of MAWLE Award Ceremony for the presentation of the scholarship (awards' date and location listed on website: www.mawle.org.) The scholarship check will be delivered after the completion of the first semester of college.

The Hagan Scholarship is a need-based merit scholarship with household incomes not exceeding $125,000.  Must have a 3.5 GPA, enroll into a four-year college in the fall, must work 240 hours from Jan. 1, 2026 - Sept. 1, 2026.  Deadline to apply is March 15, 2026.
